I was born in Southern California as a seemingly normal kid except for one thing…

I didn’t talk until I was 4. I grew up with developmental disadvantages that made me a troubled kid.

So I grew up on a diet of cartoons. Classic Disney and Pixar movies, Tom & Jerry and Spongebob were my favorites. Their way of visual communication got me so hooked because I understood what was happening in the cartoon world better than what was happening in real life. That’s when I knew I wanted to work in animation!

Not only is my passion for animation just for fun, but it’s a community service towards the whole world. Animation, as a part of pop culture, can either shape the future in terms of sending a special message or emotion via human-crafted stories, or can change a singular person’s life for the better by giving them inspiration, like how animation shaped my life in terms of passion and creativity.

Fun Fact: Directing at least one movie (animated or not) is a definite bucket list item of mine! I can’t wait to tell you my ideas!
